This project aims to reduce 30% of emissions from personal tourist transport in the inner city by the end of this year.
Anticipating the green tourism wave, Selex Motors has just announced the completion of 10 additional next-gen automatic battery-swapping stations in Da Nang, bringing the total number of swapping points citywide to 25. The current rental price has dropped to only 120,000 VND to 150,000 VND/day. This model is highly favored by tourists due to its trendy design, impressive range of up to 200km per charge, and excellent water resistance, perfectly suited for Da Nang's coastal terrain.
A prominent trend emerging in the past 24 hours is the close partnership between 4-5 star accommodations along My Khe Beach and EV startups. Accordingly, tourists booking stays of 2 nights or more at partner resorts will instantly receive a voucher for a complimentary 24-hour smart electric motorbike rental. Hotels have also proactively installed standard charging stations in their parking lots to serve guests' overnight charging needs, establishing a seamless and highly convenient eco-tourism ecosystem.
The Da Nang Tourism Association, in collaboration with a tech partner, has officially launched the "Da Nang Green EV Guide" mobile app. This specialized app is designed specifically for tourists using electric motorbikes in the city. It features a real-time map displaying over 50 charging and battery-swapping stations of various brands (VinFast, Selex, Dat Bike), while integrating online booking, cashless payments, and 24/7 roadside assistance with just one touch, ensuring absolute peace of mind for travelers exploring the city.
